AUGUST 2026 CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

Florida in August gets quiet. The snowbirds head north, things slow down, and naturally the P1 team has been spending its days relaxing by Lake Louise with margaritas in hand.

Or not.

While Chris Duplessis may have a slightly different version of how the summer has been going, the reality is that one of P1’s biggest construction milestones is officially underway: asphalt is going down on the Treasure Coast Circuit.

Over the past several months, crews have shaped, graded, refined, and, where necessary, re-refined the three-mile circuit to get it exactly where it needs to be before paving. Now, the track is making the leap from dirt and road base to actual racetrack.

And as Chris demonstrates in our latest construction update, paving a circuit is a little more involved than resurfacing the neighborhood cul-de-sac.

Asphalt is laid hot in long, continuous runs to create a smooth, consistent driving surface, with crews working carefully through corners, transitions, and seams. It is a highly coordinated process, and one that is moving quickly across the property.

But we’ll let Chris explain it.
