FAQs
The Basics
Membership is required for full access to P1 Motor Club or to purchase residences or customizable garages, aka “GarageMahals.” Before construction begins, Charter licenses will be offered for individuals and families. As new assets become available, Charter Members will enjoy priority access based on Join Date and above all other members. Membership is by invitation and/or referral only. If you do not know one of the founders or an existing Charter Member, you may request an interview and application for consideration by contacting [email protected].
Once you join P1MC as a member, you can include family members each season depending on their planned use, if any, of P1MC. You do not pay another initiation fee - just their dues for that season. By each October 1st, you indicate which family members you would like to add or remove from your license for the following season. It’s that easy and that flexible!
Relatives that may be included under your membership are your spouse, children, grandchildren, parents, and grandparents, including those relationships by marriage (i.e., step- or -in-law).
Being a Charter Member means that you joined before P1MC officially opened, and that you enjoy benefits and privileges above all other non-equity memberships. Some of your benefits include:
- Priority over all non-equity members on virtually all limited assets, including real estate*, reserved competition #s, racecar & street car fleet rentals
- 1,200+ hours of track access per year
- Access to the P1, Treasure Coast, Karting & Off-Road circuits
- Unlimited number of driving & non-driving guests
- Unlimited access to the Members’ Clubhouse & amenities
- The ability to add, keep & remove relatives any season
- The option to freeze your license
*The purchase of real estate is available only to P1MC members, but is
optional and is not required to join.
No. Rather, a Charter Member may request a “Driver Number ” that, if confirmed, will be exclusive to that Charter Member for all club competition. Driver Number requests are prioritized by Join Date.
It depends on when you join. The initiation fee started at $156,000, but increases every few weeks. Your initiation fee is broken into 3 equal payments:
- Due within 10 business days of executing the Charter License Agreement (sits in escrow)
- Due within 10 business days of us notifying you that the Planning and Zoning board approved the final site plan (sits in escrow)
- Due within 10 business days of us letting you know that we’ve started construction (funds then released from escrow)
Annual dues for the first season will be $12,000 for each license holder, and $12,000 for each added driving family member. Non-driving family members added will pay $6,000 annually.
We remain on track to begin construction in the Fall of 2024, and are laser-focused on opening the P1 Circuit to members for driving by November 2025, assuming the asphalt ribbon is complete and safety systems are in place. Realistically, we anticipate operating out of tents until late Spring 2026.
Phase I will include the 4.5-mile P1 Circuit, most P1MC amenities, including the first batch of Autominiums and GarageMahals in the center and north of the P1 Circuit, paddock garages for a P1MC service center and prep shops that commit in 2024 to paddock space, gatehouse, corporate offices, and a site and facilities operation center.
GarageMahals ordered in 2024 are expected to be available starting in late 2025, depending on the level of buildout selected. Autominiums ordered in 2024 are expected to be ready in late 2026, ideally in time for the November 2026-June 2027 high season.
The P1MC Special District is approved to include all previously outlined real estate, driving circuits, and amenities. P1MC is also approved to operate 7 days/week from sunrise to 2 hours after sunset, enjoy a sound limit of 108 dB(A) (will accommodate 99% of racecars), and host up to 10 special multi-day events per year.
Yes, if we don’t start construction by March 31, 2025, then all initiations payments will be returned from escrow upon your request.
No, your license is not a financial investment. It’s an investment in a lifetime of fun, happiness, and camaraderie, and that’s even better.
