PASSION, PERFORMANCE, AND PRANCING HORSES: Furia Corsa’s Adam Twinley

Adam Twinley has channeled his lifelong love of motorsports into creating Furia Corsa, a team of highly sought-after Ferrari streetcar and racecar specialists. From humble beginnings to leading one of the most respected vintage and Ferrari racing teams in the country, Adam’s work ethic is as fast paced as the cars he works on, and we are delighted to have Furia Corsa join us in P1 Motor Club’s R&D Park.

Tell me a bit about your background in motorsports, and how Furia Corsa came to be.

I was born into motorsports — I was terrible at school, so cars became my world from a young age. My father ran an LMP2 racing program on both sides of the Atlantic, and I ended up working as a crew chief. Eventually, I came to the States full time to join Highcroft Racing’s ALMS Acura LMP2 program.

In 2007, I landed in Houston at Risi Competizione, working on their Ferrari GT2 program. I spent four years with them on their F430 American Le Mans campaigns, and we had great success both in America and at Le Mans with multiple class wins at the 24-Hour race. I eventually moved to Florida, did some vintage racing, and even started a business restoring classic European streetcars. Years later, I founded Furia Corsa with my business partner. He and I shared a vision of building a team based on integrity, skill, and mutual respect. We’ve worked hard to create a place where people not only excel, but also feel valued.

What types of cars does Furia Corsa run?

We’re heavily focused on Italian cars, particularly Ferrari’s, but our team’s capabilities are extensive — there’s nothing we can’t tackle. In vintage racing, we’re also looking to the future, working on the next generation of vintage racers. This includes LMPs, paddle-shift GT cars, and older GT3s, which we keep running at a fraction of what manufacturers would charge. We have injection molding, 3D Printing, CNC, and other capabilities that allow us to manufacture parts in-house.

What is Furia Corsa’s mission and vision?

Our program is designed to be relatively affordable, consistent, and offer extensive track time. Many race programs cut costs by using fly-in mechanics and pushing them to their limits. That’s not the way we operate. We believe in taking care of our crew, and that’s why we employ mostly full-time staff. This consistency allows our clients to work with the same crew every time, building trust and ensuring top-notch performance. We provide real benefits, operating more like a dealership than your standard race team. As a result, the quality of our service and staff speaks for itself.

Why did you decide to join P1 Motor Club’s R&D Park?

We were first drawn by the opportunity for consistent winter testing at a world-class racetrack. We believe that P1 is a track that rivals the “greats,” like Road America.

I’m also looking forward to working with like-minded people. At P1, it’s all about being authentically yourself, enjoying the experience, honing your skills, and sharing the passion. That’s what Furia Corsa is all about — making motorsports a place where performance meets passion, and having some fun along the way.
