Two P1 Leaders. One IMSA Season.

P1 Motor Club is proud to enter the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge for the full 2026 season, partnering with Murillo Racing to field a Mercedes-AMG GT4 driven by Aurora Straus and Kenny Murillo. The season begins at Daytona International Speedway on January 23, 2026.

But for our community, this announcement is about more than a race program — it’s about the people behind it.

A personal milestone that reflects what P1 stands for

We are delighted to share a personal milestone that reflects what P1 stands for at its core. From the beginning, P1 has been built as a family-oriented business and community. Aurora and Kenny’s partnership embodies that ethos, grounded in the belief that motorsports — and the broader experiences available at P1 — are opportunities to create lifetime memories with family and friends.

After years of competing against each other in IMSA, Aurora and Kenny will now be racing together, bringing that shared experience — and shared drive — into the same car for the first time.

And in a moment that feels perfectly “P1,” they’ll be celebrating another major life milestone just weeks before the green flag: Aurora and Kenny are getting married on New Year’s Eve, less than a month before Race 1.

Two drivers. One team. And both are part of P1.

This program is especially meaningful because both drivers work for P1 Motor Club:

  • Aurora Straus, a longtime professional GT driver and P1 leader, has helped shape P1’s growth and partnerships from the inside.
  • Kenny Murillo isn’t just driving under the P1 banner — he’s also P1 Motor Club’s Circuit Engineer, helping bring our driving experience and technical standards to life day in and day out.

What’s next

We’ll be sharing updates throughout the season — from race weekends to behind-the-scenes moments that highlight the unique blend of performance, community, and shared experiences that defines P1.

Stay tuned as Aurora and Kenny take the P1 Motor Club name to IMSA — together.
